Nice environment menu good I recommend

Quite disappointed from the place. Menu was actually not impressive to begin with. The look of the green salad was close to cut in half pumpkin and for the hell of it we never got our bread basket even though we asked several times. Everything took forever to arrive and never quite understood why.... Certainly better place to go to in Istanbul.

My girlfriend and I were lucky enough to be the first to try their new tasting menu. Not only we were delighted, as we adore tasting menus and wine pairings but also lucky. I won't lie and say that it started slow and unorganized. On this busy Thursday night we were seated and asked multiple times what we wanted to eat despite making the reservation with the tasting menu. The first wine was put on our table with 0 explanation. I thought if this is what is to come than we are in trouble. But to our delight a complete 180 happened. The waiters apologized and thus started what was to be one of the better tasting menus we have had in Istanbul. The chef went off course and improvised for us. The food was spot on and delicious. The amounts were just right. The shrimp macaroon was amazing along with perfectly cooked fish and amazing slow cooked short ribs. The service went from Zero to Hero. I would recommend Spago for not just it's reputation but for it's food, service and attention to detail.

Sad to say that the food was great but service was horrible! The restaurant closes at 10:00 pm and I wanted order a simple dessert that takes no more than 5 minutes at 9:30 pm and the waiter said that they were closed, then the manager was called and tried to justify himself by saying hotel guest only, I doubt Chef Puck would allow that. The Spago on Rodeo drive would never. VERY DISAPPOINTING SERVICE

The only good thing is the location and the view, the food is expensive and not worth much, in the same street there are better restaurants, I did not like the restaurant system and most of the girls seemed to be girls at night, the service was good and fast

I booked one day before, and when i reach there they gave me the worst table in the restaurant. In addition, the restaurant was empty. Very bad service!!

The food, the place, the service, the attention of the waiters were perfect. However, the valet received 50 liras.

The food was delicious, we had starters and a main course and would've gone for more if it weren't for the staff. After waiting for an unnecessary few minutes in front of the lightly packed restaurant (presumably just so the hostess could live out her make-believe exclusivity), the waiter was unfriendly, condescended us because we didn't choose an alcoholic beverage (though I believed it to be normal to be a non-drinker in a Muslim country). It seems that the waiters adjust their friendliness according to the price on the tab. I'll give one star for each of the dishes I had.

Disappointing. The staff look down on you for not ordering alcohol. I doubt they could afford to order a starter with their salaries, so where does this arrogance stem from?

We went for our anniversary dinner, I can say the food and service was perfect. The cocktails are nice, I recommend pins & needles.

This spot was on my location to chill out at and finally we had a chance. The view is amazing. It can be chilly but they do have shawls at the location. The service is very professional and quick. I would for sure have a reservation. The outdoor patio is cozy and small but the ambiance is to die for. For sure I will be back. 💫 The guests at the location are generally the guests staying at Hotel. The attire can be anywhere from sports gear to dressy.

Wine list is overpriced, but overall we had a very good experience here.

Delicious food fine restaurant amazing view

Super tasty desserts but every time we were asked by all the waiters if we didn't want to order a main course. Absolute cheek we will never be back. The waiters give the impression of being out of place. Neither in Dubai, New York or Berlin did I feel as out of place as I did here at St Regis in Istanbul.

Open from 15:00 (only bar menu: snacks, pizza, drinks), from 18:00 the main menu. For the evening, a reserve is required, especially on Friday / Saturday. The restaurant is located on the top floor of the St. Regis Hotel. During the day, the impression was terrible. Half of the proposed menu was not available. The staff was busy with their business, there were fragments on the floor, several times they were asked to move to another place for cleaning, although they themselves offered to sit at the very table in the area where it was necessary to clean up. Noisy in the evening, a lot of people, but the food is delicious. The overall impression is rather negative precisely because of the service.

I mean really and truly awful! Not sure how Wolfgang put his name on this....too many problems to fully list but between being told that they could not provide a basic side salad to being served a simultaneously utterly flavourless and literally refrigerator cold "roast lamb" we gave up totally and left mid meal to another restaurant. The dual interior exterior sound track of deep house EDM and Turkish local music didnt help either....

A PLACE OF DAMAGE! WE WERE NOT TAKEN IN BECAUSE IT IS FULL. REZALEEETTT IN ONE WORD

It's the perfect environment to catch a coronavirus. There is no social distance where there is live music. There is no mask ... We did not go there, I do not recommend you either. Let the Minister of Health come and see

The welcoming staff is disgraceful. The staff is like the owner of the place ..

As one of my favorite restaurants around the world, I had (rightfully so) high expectations of Spago Istanbul. While the food was good, I echo the comments below with the service being absolutely subpar. We were often told to “please wait” “or “hold 5 minutes” when asking for simple requests such as water or even the check. Our meal took ~three hours and we ordered <10 items, including drinks. Clearly, staffing seems to be a continuous issue. With the St. Regis right below them, I hope they’ll be able to rise to the quality of other Spago locations around the world.

It's been awhile since I was this disappointed. The restaurant holds the name of Wolfgang Puck's signature Beverly Hills legend, but is more like your standard pizzeria /steak house. Would visit again for the view and the wine list, expecting a regular dining night out.

we wanted to celebrate an anniversary(asked for a surprise and was ready to pay for it but forgotten) horrible staff, service was extrelemely slow, we asked for a photo and waiter impolitely said give me some time and never cama back, fiod and view were okay but not worth believe me, my spouse asked her steak medium rare, came welldone( asked for a change, they said 10-15 mins and after 25 mins, didnt arrive, i was upset asked for the bill- another 10-15 mins, asked the waiter what alwas wring and the answer was, we didnt decline any reservations and we are understaffed, such places can not have the luxury to overbook as we are going through corona times, as well as they CLAIM to be fine dining. horrible experience. not recommended

A place I've been to many times. The kitchen is very good but the BAR part is very badly managed. The reception team at the door is a complete disaster. I have visited dozens of countries around the world, I have been to hundreds of different restaurants and bars, but I have rarely met with a place where such an inexperienced team works. For example, although it has been a place I have been to for years, and although we have paid a fairly high bill last week, when I wanted to go with a foreign guest last Saturday, the employees in the welcoming part returned it with the excuse of reservation. I also named Deniz Zenginin, who runs the bar part, who knows me well, although they were very inexperienced and inexperienced. Of course, I do not know if Deniz is aware of this, I hope not, because it will create a bigger disappointment in me ...

I gave the only star for its view and location. However, it is urgently necessary for the staff at the door to spend 3-4 years of professional intensive and very intense formation in terms of "welcoming the customer". When I go to have fun, instead of dealing with the staff of a so-called A + place that lacks basic education, I spend time sitting at home with my friends. Such venue operators cannot demonstrate the ability to learn from covid, crisis, or any other subject. My humble suggestion is to turn to a sector that has no direct relationship with the customer. The atmosphere is very nice, the view is good, the staff is good, but if you say let's drink coffee at the bar, they say we don't have a hot service. I was surprised.

Worst experience ever. Unprofessional hosts+ impolite. They Act with disrespect and discrimination towards non turkish guests which is very inappropriate. Even though we had a booking, and the restaurant was empty. they wanted to take us all the way to the back and seat us in a completely secluded area. Keep in mind we’ve been frequenting the place quite a bit and have had considerably large bills at the place.

Simple food, expected more of a fine dining experience, perhaps because of Corona the menu was simple. Tried the salmon with almonds and it was o k a y. Nothing special. Cocktails were also okay. The view is nice and the atmosphere is exclusive. It's obviously a high end place in Istanbul. Expensive for being Istanbul

Incredible service, incredibly tasty food across the board. We did only appetizers and tequila and its was phenomenal. Tried everything. Thanks for the experience.

It's a wonderful place. The view is beautiful, even more beautiful in the sunset. The group that comes out on Thursday also blends the beauty of the west and the east.

The tenderloin was bad, it was very delicious, it handled the salad, the organic citir chicken was like the flavor, but the sauce next to it was much better and we ate the better lamb chops. Apple crumble also returns, but the vanilla ice cream next to it was the flavor I was looking for, we did blend wine, but they did not like to serve it without showing the wine bottle. and the cocktail with carkifelek fruity. We wanted whiskey sour and it was nice.

Best food & view & personnal service in Istanbul

English below When I look on the internet, it says the location of the chef with 2 michelin stars. The seats are summer terrace. There are two uncovered tables in the closed area. No summer menu and no prices. When they got the phone, they sent an up-to-date menu priced very quickly. Very expensive. We went to drink. There is no view in the bar. Cocktails were nice. It was on the tables that were not visible on the internet, but it was bombost. They closed the terrace, but smoking is free because the name is the terrace. So much command to us was coming. Because the doors are open. They told us to drink the drink in our winter garden, but it was under smoke. We did not eat good food. The English will be short sorry. The internet site is from the summer. Menu and photos are old. They mail the new menu. Dont think this is a Michelin star restaurant. The terrace is covered tightly and people smoke cigarets and cigars. Wasn't nice at all. Good think we had decided not to eat and went for a drink. Cocktails were nice. Could be a nice place in the summer. You can enjoy the view and dont mind the rest.

One of the best restaurants in Istanbul. Great food, good service, hip vibes and gorgeous views. Even if you just want yo sit at their bar and cocktail section you will enjoy being outside with beautiful scenery. During winter the terraces are closed with glass, which make them nice and cozy. If you like meat, try their bone-in rib eye steak with a side of truffle fries. For dessert dont miss the apple crumble.

Spago was brought to Istanbul by Wolfgang Puck, a Michelin star chef from Beverly Hills. Spago is a fine dining chain started in Hollywood. It is only 5 years old in Istanbul and the quality of food and coctails has always been the same since the beginning. It is has extraordinary Chicago chic, I would say. Spago always plays good world music and turns into quality deep house after 23.00. In the summer spago boasts with a gotgeous terrace overlooking the city and the Bosphorus. Recommended cocktails: Peace on Earth. It is one of the best places visited in Istanbul.

The main and the salad were actually quite good. Risotto was a let down but edible, but the dessert, I should not have ordered. Service, was ok, but no better than any restaurant around the corner. Location nice and cosy.

Very underwhelming for a place of this caliber. Sushi was excellent, and the tuna cones were quite nice, but the Har Gow was horrible, tasted of nothing but brine. Spicy beef was pretty good, but the Chicken was so bland I didn’t bother finishing it. I barely even started it, and the person who took my plate didn’t ask a single question. In fact at no point did anyone ask us how the food was. Most of the time we wanted to order dee had to look around and wait several minutes for someone to stop what they were doing and help us. I know this is Istanbul, but what’s with the entire place smelling of cigarettes. There is literally no place to sit without being assault my the smell. How this place got even a single Michelin star is beyond me. I don’t mind paying for quality, but for this price I expect something at least above average. Even at half the price, I would be disappointed.
